This is for the CC351 where we could choose from 5 colors. As usual, I have non of them. Peacock is close to lost lagoon, preserves is close to blackberry, and a mix of mustard and marmelade ( ugh, would that taste aweful) is close to hello honey. This is my fav type of card to make because THERE ARE NO WRONG ANSWERS. Get ink all over the cs any way you can - I smeared it all over the craft matt and spreyed with water. Then stencil anything anywhere... it does not have to look good. Finally grab which ever stamps are closest - perfect if you do not have a craft room and all your stuff if jammed at the back of the coat closet and your back is threatening to go out. Even better... bad stamping is prefered. Incomplete images places slightly off center are perfect. For desert, the CC531 called for dots and stripes. I think I got that covered. I do have to add a little personal detail. If you looked at my gallery and then at my closet you would think I had multiple personalities. My closet is full of greys, blacks, browns and tans... not a bright color in sight, except for one shirt that was a gift from my DH years ago before WE decided that clothes were not a good gift idea. I had my colors done and told him that I was "Fall". He was so excited when my birthday arrived that he gave me the gift 3 days early, and proudly said " it is your colors". Well, it looks like it survived an explosion in a neon paint factory. I do wear it .. when we go to a movie ina dark theater. I am a middle aged, dental hygienist, with 2 teenage sons, who can not think of anything more inspired to cook for dinner than ground turkey meatloaf. I guess my alter ego for crafts is a psychadelic pole dancing stripper with a weird sense of humor. This is a thank you for a very specil friend.

Fabulous colours. Francie, you are a real wizard with your white gel pen! I must try to use mine more, when I see your cards you give them such extra life with those white highlights and doodles.

I laughed til I cried! Your descriptions are almost as fabulous as your cards! This is amazing! If I followed the steps you gave in the description it would probably end up looking like something the cat surprised me with on the bathroom floor. I absolutely love this - your doodling is outstanding and adds so much fun to those awesome colors! Another favorite!

I always love to see how you explain your creations, Francie. You should live near me, and we would set the town on its ear!! I get crazy ideas too, and feel I have to temper them here. Your "special friend" will appreciate all that went into this, but maybe will "pass" on the turkey meatloaf!!! TFS!

I was drawn to your card when it popped out from the gallery. But as I read your detailed description I truly laughed out loud at your funny tale. Thanks for the laugh, I could really use it today. As for the card, it's a fabulous explosion of color and elements. Kind of a 60's vib, I'd say. It's cool....he, he.
