Finally time to do some challenges from this week. This is for the CAS challenge "Thank You" (to make a thank you card) and the Ways to Use It challenge "May Flowers".
I created the background by sponging various distress inks over the Texture Flourish stencil. Then stamped the flower spray and sentiment on top. I coloured the tiny dots with a distress marker, and added some distress ink to the flowers with a waterbrush. I then restamped twice on watercolour paper, and painted the flowers with distress inks, then fussy cut whole flowers from one set, and just the top petals from the other set - shaped them a bit with a stylus and then layered them on top to give dimension to them. I added some Wink of Stella to the dots and the bottoms of each petal but it doesn't show in the photo.

So pretty and feminine, Susan. Love the soft stenciled background. Your flowers have so much depth with the layering and shaping. Gorgeous card, my friend!! x
