For the VSN Mini2-make a card to thank someone who makes you happy.
My mother is 82. Her hair is a perfect silver white. Her skin is pale and translucent. Her face soft and sheer. When I look at her she seems to gradually become more delicate, more fragile, a mere shimmer of the substance she used to represent when I was a child. One day, I know, she will drift away, like a fine mist lightly scenting the air and then gone. One year, in my 20s, on my birthday, I sent her a bouquet of flowers and a thank you card: Thank you, mother, for giving birth to me. And now, on my decade birthdays, a tradition: l thank you for a gift so fine-the life you gave me, the life I have shared with you, all the gifts you have given in your love, your talent, your intelligence, your spirit and more.
This card, with the delicate vellum sentiment tag, the sheer white ribbon for mother, the tender pink ribbon for me, gelato and distress ink rubbed on the stamp, water misted before pressing to paper, embossing the blossoms, dusting with glimmer spray to tenderly convey - - Thank you.

When I saw the card, I was thinking so soft and delicate, then I read your post and Wow, your card really emits your story! Treasure your mother, which you seem to do, as long as you have her with you! This is wonderful! tfs
