I love this In-Color collection and am so sorry to see it go - therefore the title "Miss You Already" and travel theme. I decided to use some retiring stamps I will miss as well, but added my new favorite set (Butterfly Basics) to complete the card.
I antiqued the vanilla cardstock by spritzing it lightly with a mix of Baked Brown Sugar ink and alcohol. After I stamped and cutout the postcard, I sponged the edges with the BBS ink. For the card base I used the I Love Lace background stamp with Versamark and stamped it randomly several times. The stamp is punched out, edges sponged and adhered to the card. I used Strawberry Slush to stamp the "postmark". Next I made the butterfly by stamping it with Pistachio Pudding on the same color cardstock and die cutting it. I sponged the edges first in Pistachio Pudding and then in BBS.
The postcard itself is popped up off the base and wrapped with bakers twine and linen thread. Finally, I curled the butterfly wings, popped it up on dimensionals and added sequins and last year's In-Color embellishment.
TFL!
(I'll miss you Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe!)

We are very lucky to have so many lovely collage cards in the gallery for this challenge! Love your tone-on-tone background, too. Miss you, Baked Brown Sugar!

How vintage and shabby chic all at the same time - and I love it!!! Beautiful!

Beautiful card! I love all the travel elements and also all the vintage elements, antiquing the postcard, etc. This could be a page from a travel journal, a remembrance of the past--and past colors. So pretty!
