This is my first sample for CC530. We lost our power during an electrical storm last night when I was trying to upload. Power is back on and no damage here at our home.
I am the hostess this week and I decided to have a send-off for the retiring in-colors. Dessert is to use twine or sequins in the in-colors. I used both on this card.
My layout is the Sweet Sunday Sketch #268. Background and tilted panel dsp is from the Stampin'-Up afternoon picnic collection.
My sending word is a die from Simon Says Stamp. The well wishes sentiment is from the MFT set "better get better".
My die cut flowers and pot are from the MFT collection "spring garden". I also die cut the sequins from an MFT die. Finished the card with very vanilla ribbon and cotton perle twine.
Hope you can play along with us this week and join our grand send-off.

This is so pretty, Mary! Love the die cut flowers (they are on my wish list) and that pretty bow. The offset panels add such interest too. Glad your power is back on!

You've got them all and with a lovely design with the sweet pot of flowers and all the various DPs stacked at angles, Mary. Sure to cheer the recipient.

Such a pretty card, Mary! Love everything about it especially that baker's twine bow!! We lucked out on getting that line of storms last night. They fell apart till they got to this part of PA and sadly, we need the rain badly! Glad your power is back on now....

Lovely pot of happiness! I really like how the pink/red is popping off the page against the aqua shades. The twine over the ribbon is a great look. Thank's for a great challenge. Love your card!
