Just don't you love it when your memory goes wandering - just as long as it doesn't get lost and stay away.
I thought of this saying when I first came across this stamp and now have an opportunity to use it. The picture reminds me of someone! Who Me I hear you say! he he
This Retiree is in the lap of luxury- reclining on her Pistachio Pudding Lounge, surrounded by Strawberry Slush Curtains and of course the rug for when it gets chilly. The card is a match for Baked Brown Sugar. I didn't go for dessert this time - my mind is wandering thinking of something nice - but you know what it is like - nothing appeals at the moment.
I had fun making this card and really get a great laugh from this stamp.
Hope you enjoy too.

I love this image! She is perfectly contemplative; martini and stack of books at hand, afghan for when the sleepies come! :-) What could be better! You have coloured her wonderfully! Great sentiment too. TFS

I have to chuckle...if you hadn't put on this title, I would have thought of her as being depressed...despite all her creature comforts with drink and her bird trying to cheer her up! Funny how we can look at the same thing and see things differently. Great coloring of your image.

wonderful colouring of this very busy image... love how the bird is interrupting her train of thought and all those books waiting to be read, not to mention the martini waiting in the wings... great job on the challenge..

I think she is in her glory - a stack of books, a drink - a talking cockatoo for company and a throw to keep her feet warm - who could ask for more? You have coloured it all so wonderfully, tfs

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most! I love your image, and the saying is wonderful!! Made me giggle.

I'm seeing some fabulous coloring on this homage to our retiring In Colors. Beautiful job with your thoughtful little lady. I think we could each come up with an interesting story about what is going on here. So fun.

this is a great card Helen-when I looked at it I just thought of someone in the lap of luxury with her martini on the table-pausing to think about what she is reading-I loved your card description
