Mary is our hostess this week, and for our challenge, she has asked us to use two or more of the SU In Colors that are retiring on June 2, 2015. The colors are Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe. Dessert is to use either sequins or baker's twine. I cheated and used some Dazzling Diamonds in the centers of the flowers. Maybe a no-cal dessert?
I needed a thank you card for my daughter, who came over yesterday and installed a wall bracket for my new cordless vacuum (love it!). I'm writing this on Mother's Day, and I'm on my way to her house for dinner. I made this card for her, to tell her how special she makes me feel every Mother's Day (and every other day, too!).
It's hard to see in this photo, but the white layer is embossed with the Darice Hearts Background embossing folder to give it a bit of texture.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

What a beautiful card with a wonderful sentiment for your daughter. It has a very loving, comforting feel. The colors look so nice with the floral image.

Barbara you are so sweet!! I like your low cal/no cal dessert. I also love the combination of colors you picked. The embossed hearts are a wonderful touch to express your love to your daughter. A lovely card. :>)
