This is my second card for this week's challenge. We are bidding a fond farewell to the retiring SU In Colors. For this card, I chose Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, and Baked Brown Sugar. I'm skipping dessert on this card.
In addition to saying good bye to those colors, we're also losing the lovely background stamp, "I Love Lace." Maybe it's because I'm a bobbin lacemaker, but I think this background is so pretty, and I'm surprised it had such a short life in the SU catalog.
I stamped the lace background with White Craft Ink on Baked Brown Sugar and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The top layer of the butterflies (Leanna) is vellum cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

I just love this. First of all I thought you had used lace for the background - and then read that it was a stamp - and now I just have to have it. Incredible. Perfect background for those pretty butterflies.

When I saw that background stamp in the catalog, I thought "trampy fishnet stockings." When I saw your card, I thought WOW. Love the layered butterflies, too.
