This was a quick, easy card for the CAS324, MIX119, and one last entry for the CC529. I had some cut off ends from a dylusion sprey bg and couldn't just leave them alone, so I cut them into rectangles and glued them down to cs. I stenciled some dots onto the rectangle, but it did not look good. I never use heat embossing, but it worked here. This sort of qualifies for the MIX119 to use texture. The heat embossing is one texture and the enamel accents are another texture. This is probably the closest I will ever get to a CAS style card.

The blocked background is a great way of using up those precious scraps. The heat embossing looks great. I don't mind embossing with clear, or using metallics on edges, but I'm always very slow to go down the white embossing route, though I always think it looks super.

Lovely colors and like how the holes pulls the white into the design.

These are great colors. I think you did well on the CAS design (I,too struggle with this style)..love the white embossed flowers and greeting. A very fresh, fun card Francie (like the alliteration?) .

How fun and bright Francie! Personally, I think the dots look terrific, and so does the embossing! The white is so striking against the vibrant bg?

Great way to use up all those scraps to create that wonderful bright background. Yes - definitely looks like CAS to me - guess we both have the same problem with stopping at CAS.
