Polly has a wonderful gallery to choose from and I selected one of her bird cards. This is for my husband and represents something we enjoy at our condo. We put up a hummingbird feeder this year, in the tree in our small backyard and have seen several, including a red headed one. I cut the hummingbird and leaves from some smooshed watercolor BG's I made, then masked the circle on the white panel, sponged on tumbled glass, removed the circle and used the negative to add wild honey for the sun. I'm so happy with the card and can hardly wait to give it to him next month. Here's Polly's pretty card.

What a beauty Sue! I like your idea of cutting the bird and the leaves out of leftover watercolored bg..perfect! The hummingbird is so pretty with the red head and all the sparkle..I'm sometimes lucky to see them feeding at my flowers...am looking forward to that once the flowers take off. Thanks for making this in my honor

OMG Sue, Bill is going to LOVE his hummingbird card. I loved how you used your pretty home made smooched paper, colors and layout. All so perfect. TFS my friend.
