When I saw today's Ways to Use It challenge, I thought it would be perfect for a belated birthday card I needed to make as my friend loves butterflies.
And I've been falling down on my personal goal to make one card a week that uses dp and ribbon as I need to reduce the size of my stash!
I cut out the white and blue label dies, taped them together and then cut the solid butterfly die through them both. The blue dotted dp shows through it to add more interest to the silhouette butterfly die on top. I cut the silhouette butterfly in both white and blue, glued them together just at the centre, and bent the wings up so that the layers give the illusion of motion. I added a black body for contrast and the used black ribbon on the sentiment tag to take away from the blueness a bit. A few blue gemstones echo the dotted dp.

Oh Susan - gorgeous blue! And beautiful with the bling. It reminds me of a jigsaw puzzle I once had with a butterfly in that vivid blue with black markings.
