It's all about trendy backgrounds in the latest DRS challenge. You should check out the DRS blog and see what some of the talented ladies created! Karin made a beautiful bg using some leftover romaine lettuce! For my bg, I just painted on some water colors with a flat brush and then dabbed all over with a paper towel. Not too exciting but I liked the result.
Next I stamped on some flowers, some rain, added a positive sentiment, and topped it all off with a pig (because every card is just better with a pig - lol).
Fun challenge - you should play too.

Too stinkin' cute with the pig - I've never seen a pig dancing in the rain, but I'll bet it is a SIGHT! Love how your background turned out - a faded out version of the top layer with the raindrops and flowers - great card! HUGZ!

Love the combination of stamps you used on this, Nancy! That pig is adorable and love the word art in the sentiment. This one particularly hit home since we are raising our first pig tomorrow.

This is soooooeeeeeet, Nancy love your pig wisdom and the technique you used behind him. The raindrops and flowers are perfect visuals for your lovely and fun sentiment label. Now, I am intrigued by what one might be able to accomplish with lettuce leaves!
