I decided to use both. My background is dry embossed with my favourite CB folder and my image and sentiment are heat embossed with a beautiful pearly dark blue embossing powder.
I stamped with Versamark and used my MISTI to get a well-inked impression of the stamp, then used the blue ep to colour it. I framed it with an oval made using two Nesties.

Susan, I covet that Kars embossing folder and love it as the framing for your image. It appears so rich looking embossed in dark blue! Beautifully done!

Love this Susan, your deep blue heat embossing is amazing - wonderful winter scene framed with the oval. The EF makes a perfect bg, really should have bought that EF when I had the chance!!!!
