When I saw the colors for today's challenge plus the dessert of green I knew I wanted to do flowers. I have had this stamp for a long time but have rarely used it. I stamped it on a piece of white cardstock. I then added greens and yellow to make the background. I then slowly added layer after layer of color. The flowers have all three colors in them I used the tangerine color and melon color to shade on the petals. This took about 3 hours to paint and when I looked at the gallery I was hesitant to post my card because my card is so different from everyone else. I did use the colors and I hope that you can see that. If you can't go ahead and call the challenge police on me. I made a video and have close ups on my blog if you would like to check it out.

So funny what a different emphasis on the same color palette will produce. I love your interpretation of the challenge with the green emphasis. Those flowers are covered beautifully.

This is a pretty card MariLynn- I really like the background you created- not sure why you hesitated to post this card- that's why we have a color challenge to get different looks- as for police- they are not employed here on Tuesdays for years now
