I thought the colors I'd used in this watercolor BG were close to today's colors. I embossed the Bella Toile BG with detail white powder, then used the distress inks on an acetate sheet, misted with water and laid the watercolor panel down on it. I saw a card by Angela Maine that just wowed me and set out to see what I had on hand to try it. The flower was cut with the Spellbinders blooms 3 dies, out of some lighter weight watercolor pieces I'd made. I added a dew drop in the center, arranged the leaves, sprig and gold thread where I wanted them and attached the flower. The sentiment was stamped on some linen vellum from Papertrey. Here's the link to Angela's gorgeous card.

The blending of colors in your background is such a beautiful effect. I really like the vellum leaves as they add an airy feel. The gold thread is just the perfect accent. TYFS
