My usual mad dash to work...will be back later to explain.
It is lunch time, so here are the details. The colors are as close to Curry, Tangerine tango, and melon mambo as I can get for the CC529. For the CAS323 to use the letters MAY, I used Megenta ink, Acrylic paint, and Yellow perfect pearls. This is for the MMTPT which called for bright colors to send to a fellow crafter who had carpel tunnel surgery on both hands... I hope these bright colors cheer her up. This is a little twist on my typical sponging with distress inks with stenciling on top. Instead of randomly sponging colors, I wanted the bg colors in specific areas. I placed the stencil over the white cs and penciled in the edges of the stencil so I could get it in the same place later. I VERY LIGHTLY (not a phrase I use often) sponged the colors through the stencil. I removed the stencil and sponged the pinks, oranges and greens in the coordinating areas, but not too dark. I splattered water and blotted dry. I put the stencil back over the colored bg and added a lot of ink to get the flowers and leaves to show up. Aftet removing the stencil I stampef the splatter from the Fall Foliage set with yellow acrylic paint and added some perfect pearls. I used the negative space from the smile die cut and let the green show through, then die cut some green circles from a flower set for the positive shapes.... I will have to efit this to include the TLC challenge. TFL, Francie

I see the colour challenge is perfect for combining with the TPT challenge today! Those big flowers are beautiful; it's almost as if you'd stamped them over a batik background. Love the Liquid Pearls, too.
