I am pushing the envelope again... this is really too busy to be CAS, but I got the challenge to use the letters MAY right. For M I used MAGENTA, for A I used bleech to ABSORB the ink so I could color the butterfly, and fot Y I used YELLOW. It was another all nighter with Dolly the insomniac dog... she is so sweet that I really don' t mind, plus I needed a b-day card for an extra special friend and was happy for the extra time. I made a similar card last year and never liked how I mounted it, so here was my chance to make another card. I had the bgs in my stash left over from the first card. The bgs are made with dylusions spreys with a little water splattered. The very back piece has black ink stenciled on it. On the top panel I heat embossed the butterfly and used bleech on a paint brush to remove the ink. I colored the butterfly with prisma pencils.

WOW! A gorgeous color creation - so deep and rich! I always admire your saturated colors. I bought some Brushos and have been experimenting and getting some nicely saturated backgrounds, but still not with the depth you achieve.

Your jewel tones just knock my socks off every time, Francie. It takes a great deal of skill and talent to put such colors together is such a pleasing and beautiful way. This is a stunning M-A-Y card.
Faved!!! Sallie said it much better than I can! This is stunning!!! I love the vivid colors with the black. So fun to have leftover backgrounds. You put them together beautifully! Give sweet Dolly a hug!!!
