A colleague was recently promoted at work and I wanted something different as a congratulations card. I kept the card in monochrome tones to mimic the sometimes depicted soft-green moon and lunar landscape.
The moon image is from the Altenew "To the Moon" set. I stamped it in turquoise and embossed with glitter embossing powder. I mounted it on dimensional foam, off center of the silver backing, so that it appears as if a lunar eclipse is starting. The main turquoise panel is cut from a Simon Says Stamp die and mounted on silver foil paper (but the camera makes it look grey). The light aqua panel is cut from an MFT Blueprints die. The teeny stars are actually the negative from the Simon Says Falling Stars full plate die. The congratulations sentiment is from Stampin Up!. The inside sentiment is from Stampendous and reads "Congratulations. You must be over the Moon." Glitter ribbon is from $1 bin at Michaels.
Card is A2. Thanks for Looking.
