I used dianthus flowers from my garden and ran them through my Big Shot to create these paper flowers.
I made sure the flowers were dry, cut the stem short, and removed the leaves under the stem. Then I sandwiched the flowers as follows: clear plate, paper, flower (face down), paper towel, clear plate. I ran it through the Big Shot, then removed the smushed flower from the paper and towel. A perfect image remained, though I had to cut them out, as the paper was sometimes stained around the flower.
