Nothing sounds better then the “klang” of a horseshoe hitting the stake…..my story…
When I was younger my uncle would take my sister and I to Hot Sulphur Springs where my grandparents would take hot mineral baths. I never took one for fear it would remove my tan hehe AnywayÂ…
While at the KC Cabins where we stayed, I developed a love for horseshoes watching the older gentlemen play.
When older and married my DH even put in a horseshoe pit for me. I loved it, but we have since moved from that house and I miss my horseshoes.
Well as fate would have it, Curt has developed my obsession to horseshoes. Just like me, he has to throw them whenever they are available. Must say, Curt is pretty good at it. Guess I taught him well.
He couldnÂ’t help himself today even knowing it would be the back door for him. He did bring a few of the other items that were mentioned in hopes that he wouldnÂ’t get into too much trouble. hehe
Side note: Went to a picnic recently, someone brought a game called Corn Hole, sort of like horseshoes only you throw bean bags and they donÂ’t klang! Had funÂ…Â…my cardÂ….
Hand drawn scene, used some stamps, some stencils, bic markers, ink padsÂ…think that about covers it. Done. TFL :0)

LOL, I was sure from your title that Curt was heading for the back door, but it goes without saying that whoever gets tickled with this won't mind which door Curt came in by. And maybe the Scrabble letters on the sign will get the pair of you through the front door.
One of the Greek islands we have visited had a natural sulphur spring in the sea at a beach we drove past a few times - but the smell was so strong that I never quite could bring myself to stop and bathe at that beach!

Cathy, I think we must definitely forgive Curt for bringing horseshoes since he kindly brought along cards, dice and dominos, as well as Scrabble! Not to mention that he arrived in high style on this absolutely awesome card! I love it! Thanks so much for playing along!

Well, sure looks like Curt has a few other things up his err sleeves --- err legs, err arms, ears---LOL--- he is ready for everything it looks like--neat card.
He, he...utterly awesome! I'm not particularly artistic; I never think to hand draw the elements I'm missing in my stamping supply room. Fun.

Wow Cathy, you have done it again...created a perfect setting for Curt. As always I love your story, I shall think of you everytime I see horseshoes LOL. Your card is brilliant, the checker border, the cards in Curts hat and I love his dice necklace. Another perfect card for the Teaparty my friend. ...oh I just spotted the scrabble sign post!!!

LOL Oh Cathy, you do have a little naughty streak in you! Love the horse shoes (does Curt have any cow shoes?) even if it is a very dangerous sport! Your drawing and coloring are as wonderful as always and your card just brings out smiles and giggles! You truly are so talented!!!
