I chose the shabby option of Peggy's choices. I think she chose these colors in honor of all my whining last week. Thanks Peggy. It was very hard for me to even MAKE a card this week so at least I had colors I love to work with!! THIS is my SUI card, or 'stamping under the influence" I about lost a whole week hyped up on vicoden and ibuprofen while I suffered thru a root canal that got meaner AFTER it was done than it even was before. Whoa baby there is nothing like a toothache, and you even get them when you work in a dental office!! YIKES I HOPE THAT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN, an abscess under the root of the tooth that was crowned years ago, so no decay, just an abscess. Can you say OUCH??? So I am not to blame for this card. It looked one way in my head but another way on paper. It's okay, but it just didn't translate very well. haha. You win some, you lose some, and hey, my tooth is FINALLY settling down.....so all is well with the world. Off to bed now - another busy day at work tomorrow. No more tooth ache. Glory Hallelujah - Happy stamping everyone, and Happy Tuesday!!

Glad to hear you are doing better! I too often have an idea in my head but what actually gets created is very different. That's okay though, it's the creative process! Love those button accents!!! A pretty card indeed!

Well, you answered my question about your tooth. I'm glad it is finally getting better. It sounds like it was horrible. Your card is a pretty shabby chic. I like the row of flowers and your pretty seam binding bow. Hopefully you are on to better days now Karen. :>)

Yes, getting a good idea in your head to work out can be frustrating. Then when you are drugged up! I admire you for getting it done. Been there and done that with both dental work and drugs.
By the way --- I like the card.

So shabby chic, Karen! I love that row of flowers and your embossed bg. I totally hear you about the toothache..a few years ago a crown broke & it was only a few months old. Taking it off & replacing it hurt 10 X more than the original. And it bothered me for months afterward (very cold sensitive).

This is beautiful Karen, such a lovely shabby design, and I just love the seam binding ribbon look. Pleased to hear your toothache is on the mend, I know from personal experience how painful they can be. tfs
I think it turned out great. It's pretty. I had a root canal that did the same thing a few years ago. It was definitely one of the worst pains I have experienced. Glad you're doing better.
