For today's IC490 Timbres from Audrie. I have a lot of other stuff on today, but one of the to-do items was a thank-you card to get made, written and mailed out by Monday...and since DH got me some Brushos for my birthday, I wanted to try those out. This is my first attempt - start of a learning curve. I used the colours from the Bird of Paradise stamp in the thumbs, and sprinkled them on wet watercolour paper, trying to make sure that most of the green was where the stems would be stamped. After stamping the flowers, I added Glossy Accents on all the petals, and sprinkled black glitter in the centres. Tore the edges and added a sentiment. It's layered on red card, with gold lines and dots just to add a bit of something...I think it's still a bit un-defined, though.
I made a pop-up book card - you can see the inside HERE.

pretty card...I just got Brushos as well and used them on my card for today. It does take a bit of playing but is so fun. I found that I get the best results by not using too much water when I spray. Have just recently started trying to use bleach for the bkg. too.

What an amazing looking background with your new Brushos!! I am surprised, like Stacy, that they did not run together, and gave you such a great palette on which to stamp your flowers! Love that you also tried the pop up book - such fun to see this in your gallery!!
