The watercooler challenge was to combine a watercolor background with silhouette stamping. The ways to use it challenge was to decorate the inside of the card. And I used the color combo from the last watercooler challenge.
My process for the watercolor background: I inked up the Fine Lace background with various direct to paper inks. I spritzed the stamp with water and laid it on the resist paper. (It really soaked through!) I heat set it then wiped the resist to show better. Finally, I sponged the edges with sahara sand.
Fun process even though you can't see the fine lace stamp. First time using Flamingo Lingo.
Thanks for looking. Susie

Susie, what a great card. I love your soft watercolour background and choice of Flamingo Lingo for your silhouette. To be eligible for the challenge, could you please post a link back to the Watercooler Challenge blog? Thanks so much.

Wow, this is a gorgeous card. I love the flamingo lingo stamp and the fine lace stamp. This combination of stamps and your watercolor technique, brought together a beautiful card. The color combo couldn't have been better. The inside of your card corresponds perfectly with the outside. Love it , an instant fave. tfs.

Very cool card Susie. Thanks for sharing the details. Even though it's retiring I keep looking at that Flamingo Lingo set. It has so many fun images. It combines beautifully with the World of Dreams set. Super composition idea. Looking forward to your future contributions to the Watercooler Challenges. Thanks for being part of it this time around.
