I stamped my image on GKD cardstock, then used a lighter to burn the edges all the way around the lighthouse. I colored it with copics, covered it with crackle paint, then assembled.
This week's Mix-Ability challenge invites you to use fire in the creation of your project. Give it a try!

What a fabulous layout, Ky! I love that ring with the brads in it.
I'm guessing a lighter must be a bit more manoeuvrable than a candle ;-), I managed to get wax spilled two or three times even though I thought I was being so careful. Thanks for a fun challenge today.

Your card has a wonderful vintage as well as contemporary look if that is possible. Contemporary collage layout and vintage coloring of your lighthouse image.

Oh, this is stunning! I love the lighthouse and how you've colored it and added the crackle effect! Beautiful with the flame-carved edges! What a fabulous masculine card, and I can see why it was "favorited" this week! Hugs!

Love that circle that accents your lighthouse - you had a better "burn" around your image and it looks fabulous with the crackle paint!! Love those rhinestones as an embellishment!!
