Been wanting to do one of these fussy cut poinsettia cards for a while. This month's challenge seemed to be the right time to do it.
The Bashful Blue and Mellow Moss Vellum worked really well with the gold embossing powder. I "curled" the edged of the poinsettia with the bone folder. This is a CASE of this card from NaomiW: Forums at Splitcoaststampers thank you for the inspiration.

Vellum has always been one of my favorite papers, especially the colored vellum. And you have done an extremely striking presentation of it! The gold embossing is perfect and the embellishment looks like it was made for it. Beautiful!!!

These are just beautiful! I admire you for doing all that fussy cutting - my least favorite thing to do, as much as I love how it looks!

Beautiful card. Great idea to curl the edges with a bone folder; the 3D effect must look awesome in real life. I didn't know that heat embossing could be done on vellum. Thanks for that insight! A new technique to try. Thanks for sharing.
