I don't usually decorate the inside of my cards, but occasionally I add a strip of the DP, which is what I did in this case. The layout for this card is this month's SFYTT sketch and I saw a wonderful card on Laurie Schmidlin's site that gave me the idea. I used PTI's wet paint cuts die for the hello, cutting it from bermuda bay twice and so saffron twice. I layered them together, making sure to offset the last layer a bit, so it would show and the word is place on the vellum cs. The daffodil delight seam binding is tied around the pool party strip and the accent lace attached. I haven't been doing may layered cards lately, but I really liked the layout and chance to use up some of my supply of DP. Here's the link to Laurie's site if you're in need of inspiration--she's a wonderful stamper!

Beautiful colours.
Adding a strip of paper that I've trimmed off the front is usually the extent, if anything, of what I do! I think it's a little that adds a whole lot .

Ooh, a beautiful card and I love the color mix. The stacked hello looks awesome on that vellum.
