Last week I ended up with huge big splashes of masking fluid on some paper - and watercolour paper is too good to waste, so the next day I added some Twinkling H2Os to make a wash. This is the bird that I stamped for last week's MIX challenge only I forgot to remove any ink for the "filling in" part - so it sat on my desk for a few days.
I stuck with the leafy treble clef which I liked on the earlier card (and details I can't remember today should be on that upload). This time I reverse masked the bird's breast and stamped the music in, to go with the sentiment. I used the monoprint technique to stamp the Art Deco Leaves stencil both on the image panel and the base (painted first with cream acrylic). I added gesso with a circle stencil, and finished it off with some sequins in each of the gessoed circles. Thinking of dropping this down to a neighbour who is having unpleasant side-effects from her ongoing cancer medication.

Oh, Sabrina, I love it and love how you've made it into something more than what you started! So true in our lives, isn't it - how God continues to work on us! It surely will be an encouraging card to your neighbor undergoing chemo! Hugs, sweet friend! I love this one!
