There is a story behind this card. The quote is from a WWII poster printed by the British government when London was in rubble from bombs. When my mother was dying I made an 8X10 card with this quote, decorated it and framed it. I set it in my craft room where I could see it every day and it helped me through a very difficult time. I made this card Saturday and took it to Church with me Sunday. The Pastor "borrowed" it and showed it to the congregation as it fit right into his sermon subject. Several people want one now so I will be making more of these. I have printed instructions that go with the card that says you should display it where you can see it every day to remind yourself to stay centered. I plan to have one on hand at all times as it seems like there is always someone you know that is in crisis sometime in their life. I wanted the construction of the card to stay simple but I cut up and reassembled designer paper for the background, glued it on cardstock, painted mod podge over it and when dry, drew the stitching on it....poorly, but that is how I sew as well!
