This was the card that inspired mine IC482 Brewing Up A Birthday by Laurene at Splitcoaststampers
I bet there's an easier/shorter way to make that link.
This was so much fun to color. I used the flooding technique on the rose and leaves. All the white embossing creates perfect little dams. Roses with their layered petals are the perfect image for "flooding". I tried 90 lb paper. It was way harder to use than 140lb paper. The heavier paper is so much more absorbent and forgiving. The issue with watercolor is not having puddle marks. The heavy paper makes me look better than I really am. The 90lb paper is far more frustrating to work with and takes more time and shows every mistake. So I learned a lesson.
