This is for the Simon Says stamp Wednesday Challenge create your own background and a Blog named Hero.
I created a larger piece of Mixed media BG and cut it up and mounted it on some cards. I love the process of creating the BG then the bonus is you can make a number of cards out of all your hard work. http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/ stamp Wednesday challenge - Make your own background.

Christine, this is gorgeous. Check out beesmom's card tonight. Her's is similar to yours (minus a stencil), but she's submitting hers to a few challenges. You might also like to link your card up to those.

What a beautiful collage! Love the split panels and this! What an interesting combination of techniques you used to create this! I always love seeing your collages!

very nice. I always use a scrap page to stamp, color or distress on.After it is about filled, I daub new colors on it use it on backgrounds, but never used it for the main focus. I like this very much
