I used 2 of my favorite ways to Stencil for my HLS April CAS Stenciling Challenge. Reminder #2 Card as Loll's Guest Designer this month. I placed the Silouette Cut Stencil (gift from Loll) over my Shimmery White CS and spread Golden's Modeling Paste all over using my palette knife. When dry I sponged all the inks in the circles and Soft Suede over the EB paste. Looking at my circles they looked so geometric that I decided to cut them into one geometric layer.
The linen thread and die cut hello and friend sentiment appeared for additional interest. I love the subtle shimmer from the SU Shimmery White CS.
After attaching the geometric layer to the main Shimmery White CS it needed more defining even though I had sponged the edges with Calypso Coral ink. I used my 05 Art Pen and traced a line around the edge, which helped give the piece more pop. Hard to see in the photo.
Thank you again Loll for letting me play with you this month as your guest designer :-) I have learned so many more ways to use my stencils!
There are still 14 days left to play. The gallery has really grown. So many inspiring cards using different stenciling techniques :-) Hope many of you get to play too.
Happy Stenciling my friends...

Very cool! Love the shapes, the twine and the hello. Has the feel of an old telephone dial but abstractish. Fun! Hugz
