My daughter April is visiting and has caught the card-making bug. We went to a small gathering at Amber (sprtchick)'s home and left with a large donation of beautiful papers. April cut the background panel from one, the border strip from another, and the cloud and rainbow from a third. She used the Gamsol Magic technique to color Lolly, and added accents with glaze pens. This card is based loosely on THIS card of mine. She had a blast, and really liked how it turned out. I'm really proud of her and happy to have one of my daughters join me in my addiction, lol! Plus I think it's pretty cool that her first card and my featured stamper honor were on the same day...

How wonderful to have a shared interest with your daughter! I tried but it didn't catch with mine. :-) This is a sweet card! I really like the rainbow and cloud. Congratulations on your Featured Stamper status too!

Wow, this came out great! What a fun opportunity for your daughter to jump in and play along! Hard to believe she's a newbie, the coloring and layering are awesome!
