This is one of my "limited supplies challenge" cards that I made while on our vacation. I just went down and GRABBED a bunch of stuff and crammed it all into one bag. I never could figure out uploading from my phone (said it was the wrong type of file and I'm not savvy enough to figure it all out). I purposely left the laptop behind to limit myself from screen time and just enjoy the beach and family time. I did enjoy some stamping as my way of relaxing though!
Right before we left town, a mentally-handicapped adult from our church who treated me like her mom passed away. It killed me to leave knowing that my pastor DH wasn't going to be able to do the funeral. I was so thankful when the previous pastor agreed to do the midweek funeral service while we were on our scheduled trip. This will go to him and his wife as our thanks.
This was for Sabrina's April showers challenge-I didn't have any shower themed stamps along, so I went with a misty rainy day flower scene. I had a piece of cs with a square punched out of it that I used as my mask, inking, spritzing and stamping then moving the mask and doing it again. Once the whole scene was stamped, I smooshed my ink spots onto a large acrylic block and added water. I then water colored the grass and sky and added more purple as well for the misty effect. I added the twine bow mainly to cover a splotch!

Oh, I'm so glad I checked the WT keyword tonight, and not just followed links from the thread. This is a fantastic use of Pocket Silhouettes. Actually, it reminds me of here when the heather is out on the mountains, and I'm sure you experienced plenty of our "light" rain even in your short stay. Covering a splotch or not, the twine bow looks great. I'm glad you were able to get away, even if it did mean that you weren't around for the funeral.
I think that just like our computers, clearing the cache can solve a lot of phone issues too! I've heard some people say that it resolved their uploading issues when they got that message.

Beautiful card! So sorry for your loss of a dear friend. Wow, this is amazing artwork for having limited supplies on hand during a trip. Good for you to leave your laptop at home. Enjoy the family time!! TFS
