Wanted a fun birthday card for my brother. Hope its not too girly....guy cards are hard. Went with paper bow, thinkng that might help and loved the b and w border which had a couple flowers, but nt too many.
This is also for the Queen for the day challenge. This week is 71st street. Fun gallery, lots of color and styles. so enjoyed the tour. Here is the card I cased from her gallery....Masquerade by 71st Street at Splitcoaststampers
the bg paper was 6 inch square so cut the center out a bit and used it for the inside and added the fence border there. sponged the little sign and added it with the brad like a little wooden sign. Was going to use the 2 papers like her but then loved this one so kept with it. Liked the second layer behind the picture, but then left it out to make it more simpler and more man like...I think they like things simpler.
thanks for the inspiration 71st street...and all for the visit...:0)

I really like the way you did the framing for your card. ...the country theme carried all the way through! Great image and a perfect match for your sentiment. I don't think this is too girly at all (and agree that guy cards are hard). Nice tribute to the Queen too!

Fun card! I've been a ME fan for years (in fact, I've always wanted to BE her!) I love the sunflowers and the black/white border and the fence - perfect companions for your member of the herd!
