This card is for the Queen for the Day challenge honoring 71st Street. I CASEd the card that led me to her gallery, which I promptly fell in love with! She is an expert at layering, so I attempted to follow her lead. I don't have the same dies - or skills - but I'm relatively pleased with how this turned out... Hers is adorable, but I had a definite occasion and recipient in mind that required less "cute" and more refined, so that's the direction that I went.

This is a fabulous CASE of our Queens's wonderful card. You have completely captured the essence of her style! Your creation has beautiful colors and texture. Love that big black bow, too!

Sue, I can't believe that out of all the choices we cased the same card! They ended up very different, however! I love this gal's gallery, and had saved some Valentines to case before you chose her for our Queen. Nice choice!! Love your layered card!

She does have lovely layers, but I would have no idea it was not your strength. You did wonderfully. Like the soft colors and bows. Super job...I can see why you like the card you picked...it is adorable...I agree....TFS..:0)

What a great card. I love the layering you did and your whole take on the card. Adding the deeper colors really makes it stand out. The color and shading are just beautiful.
