As some of you know, I make most of my own clothes. Given this, I suspect this is what draws me to fashion images like Erte, a fabulous French designer up to1990. Since he's Russian/French, I thought it appropriate to use French script.
The fibers I used came from some silk dupioni fabric I used to make bedrdoom draperies. While cutting the fabric, what a great surprise to discover I had oodles of this very cool thread fiber.

Oh my friend, this is off the charts classy!!! I totally adore the gold and white together! Your fibers are the perfect accent! I didn't know you made your own clothes........a woman with many talents, eh? You are an amazing woman, sweet gal!

Love this, Anne! And I love the Erte prints I've seen. Such a fabulous designer. And a fabulous card! I used to make most of my clothes (and my daughter's when she was little). Haven't done that in a while!
