This is for S2S15N challenge, to retrieve a mistake from our crafting table or scrap bag and use it to create something beautiful. I had started to make a peek-a-boo card quite awhile ago, and folded it the wrong way, so I discarded the whole thing (all the orange dp, complete with a cut out oval in the front panel. The opening was actually to the left, and the fold to the right, and the bottom layer extended to the right. I also retrieved an oval die cut piece that already had a scalloped mat in turquoise. It has been on my table for a long time too. So, I stamped the bird and branch on it and inserted the oval into the larger oval cut out. I adhered the left side to the layer beneath. I punched the edge of a piece of matching yellow cs and fit it on the inside, just so the punched edge is showing.

I have to laugh because I was using something I had scored and folded incorrectly just over the weekend. I always love that bird, and here it is beautifully framed.

I too have this set and it's never been inked or even mounted. That bird was the reason I absolutely "had" to have that set. I love the way you framed it with the scallop oval and then used the scallop border down the side. I would not have thought to put those colors together. Very, very pretty! TFS
