Wonderful challenge! I think everyone loves flowers! I have flowers in my corner image & also along the edge of the die cut border on top.
While I love the look of vellum, it can be a little hard to handle & even harder to attach. With my large vellum overlay, it ended up looking a little wavy (one of the features of vellum after itÂ’s been heat embossed, lol). It doesnÂ’t look anywhere near this wavy IRL, but the camera captures things the naked eye doesnÂ’t always see.
So anyway, I die cut the vellum w/ a pierced rectangle then white embossed the Easter Flower Corner in the lower left & colored it with Copics on the back side. The greeting was also white embossed & I put a white die cut Bunny under the vellum but on top of the pink checked paper. I fussy cut a dk pink bunny to put behind the white one so the check pattern wouldnÂ’t show through the cut outs. It just looked better. I added a white Daisy Garden die cut on top & a few satiny sequins to finish it.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups, Copic colors & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

So gorgeous, Julie. I love that bunny and your embossing just looks wonderful. I know what you mean about the camera. It really captures everything. I hardly see any waves, though.

You've done a beautiful job with the vellum on this card! I love the spring colors of the flowers and eggs, the pink gingham background and that sweet flowery bunny. Into my favorites!
