My goodness, when I looked at today's WT challenge from Lisa - WT525 Elements of Earth, Wind, Fire and Water and at the new challenge to the CCEE Stampers (being a new month we have a new hostess; Frances has challenged us to use humour on our cards), I never in a million years thought that I could combine them at all, let alone so easily. Bonus score, I wanted a card with this image ready in my stash for someone in particular.
Obviously my main element here is fire, but I think there's wind too as that hen blows out her candles, and I used a watery medium.
I stamped the hens on watercolour paper and used Inktense pencils for colouring, with some added Stickles and Glossy Accents.
I used metallic red card for layering, and also to create my little faux glitter brads (circle punch, stylus, Glossy Accents, glitter). It's quite a big stamp so in order to accommodate the sentiment I made this up into a 7"x 5" card. And for once I remembered to choose a paper before I started colouring, so I was able to match the tablecloth somewhat to the DP.

Sabrina this is so fantastic. I love the chickens and oh I sure hope they can put out those flames before they get too far out of hand. I am sure there is plenty of water ready but certainly they are able to blow them out. Thank you so much for making such a fantastic fun card for my challenge. Hugs!

What a hoot. Everything about this makes me grin, what a terrific card you have created for someone that is going to have a serious number of candles on their cake!

Way to combine the element of fire with humor ... great image, too funny! Nice coloring, too. I thought I was the only one who still had a supply of old Sizzle pads left. Hee. Looks nice on your card.

Too funny! Unfortunately, I am only a "hot" chick when my cake enters the room too.
