Hi there and a Happy Sunday to you! I wanted to share the card I made for Day 1 of Power Poppy's April Stamp Release featuring the newest set, Lilac Time. I feel pretty confident in saying this set is going to be a huge hit! It comes with 3 images and 5 sentiments to help you kick off your Spring cards with a bang. ;) I chose the image with lemons and lilacs in a pitcher and went all out vintage. I stamped my image on patterned paper and colored a few parts in with Copics, leaving the remainder of the image to be shaded by my paper. I used several layers of die cut card stock, sponging all of them with some PTI inks and gold leafing a bit along the way. I also added some stitching for even more of a vintage feel. I used Ranger Glossy Accents on the pitcher to give it some shine, my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen for a little shimmer on the lemons and some of the blooms, and added the ribbon, button, and twine to finish it off. I hope you can pop on over to the Power Poppy blog to see today's post and then hop around to see all of the sneaks using this set. I also hope you can visit us again tomorrow for Day 2....you don't wanna miss that! You can see more photos and details of this card on my blog. Thanks so much for taking a peek and I hope you have an awesome day!
