After cutting double layers of petals, crinkle in a small wadded ball then gently (and I mean very gently) open the petals. This is not designer paper, but copier paper stamped with Stampin' Up flowers etc creating the vintage appearance I was looking for. Attached flower with three glue dots.

Love your flowers!!! I keep putting off making flowers (don't know why!), but for some reason since seeing these I'm going to try it. I ran across a stash of my mother's stationery that I inherited and found some paper in it that I think they used to call "onion skin paper". That might be really great for something like this. It's a little crinkly looking. Could be really interesting. tfs
