Hello all,
This did not turn out as invisioned but I'm outta time...going to a scrapbook weekend with the girls!
I used glazes on the paper, let it dray, die cut the Cheery Lynn leaf (because I don't have solid stamps), then I cut it again out of white and inlayed it in my base. I then stamped the graph stamp over all. Colored in the squares between green and teal and everything inbetween LOL! Lydia said not to just color it in light to dark so..looks like a greenish leaf shaped quilt. Heehee!! I am not happy with my embellies but whatever, like I said, out of time! The sentiment is from a Penny Black sentiment set. I liked it till I put that crud on top! Good thing we don't get graded like in school huh!
Thanks for looking!

I like, I like. The leaf and background are wonderful and the gauze and beads are so cool.

You are a natural with mixed media, my friend! I love the colors and design. The texture from the fibers is wonderful! Give it a day, look at it tomorrow and I guarantee you will love it as much as I do!
