One of my favorite things to do as a girl and even now, is curl up with a good book with my cat cuddled close. FUN! I have had this stamp image for more than three decades. I think it was one of my very early purchases from a small home based stamp company. They were sold unmounted and I mounted it on a piece of scrap tongue and groove paneling! Still works just fine!
I stamped the image and colored with a variety of markers. This is another card going out for this month's Cards for a Cause to the Cole's Foundation.

I used to spend a lot of time reading as a girl too! Used to sit on the porch with my friends and we would all read on hot summer days. Love that pretty image. Your die cut frame looks lovely and the colours are so pretty. TFS

A very sweet card, Kathy! Curling up with a book is a fun activity for me, too! When I was a girl, I used to climb up into one of our apple trees to read. No more apple trees, but I still love to read!

A very cute card and I love the sweet image. I like to read and have been way to busy lately to do it. I have a book started, but I think by the time I get back to it, I will forget what I have already read.
