This week our cards are going to an author who has written some Western books, 2 mysteries, and is a fan Of Louis L'Amour as well. See his story HERE in this week's Tea Party
When I saw "western", all I could think of is the 'hottie cowboy' from SU's Wild Wild West set. Utilized some cowboy styled DP I had, some fringed suede I have been hoarding forever, along with some barbed wire ribbon, and put it all together. Since my image did not use a larger circle like the sketch, I added my tag at the top, but still put a small tag as per the sketch.
Hope Gene likes the cowboy theme, since he ls a fan of Louis L'Amour - And for the rest of you - Welcome to Whykickamoocow, which I understand is located somewhere near JammerTown , where the Wild West Cowboy has his NUMBER 1 Fan Club. Y'all have to check that place out now, ya' hear?
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

I cant believe how many great elements you had for Gene's card. This is great, Sue. Love the circle die with your silver/pewter beads and the hotty and the paper are a match made in heaven. He'll get a hoot outta this, of that I am certain.

WooHoo Greenie this is so terrific and very worthy of Jammer Town status LOL. The suede fringe looks fantastic and you "hottie" cowboy and barbed wire ribbon look amazing. The studed circle looks like a horseshoe. Brilliant card my friend. Xx

Sue, you definitely live in jammer town to talk cowboy like you just did (she laughs). When I saw this card in your gallery I knew I had to take a closer look - so glad I did too. Great southwestern detail on this card. I love the suede fringe and the barbed wired ribbon. Don't you love those finds? I don't know which is more fun, finding the ephemera or putting it on our cards *giggle* I'm sure Gene is going to love your card. When we create from the heart it shows - welcome aboard tortoise (she smiles).

Sue, you hit one out of the park with this awesome design! You may have had those embellishments in your stash but finding them and combining them in such a wonderful way takes talent! This is awesome! Love the fringe and the studs you added around the circle mat!
