You are not going to believe this...this card took all of 10 minutes to make! I know seems incredible but there it is! About 80 years ago (well maybe not quite that long) I found some really great file folders in the 'give away' bin at Mikes. The outside was this great pattern and the inside is this beautiful blue. I found them again the other day when I was on an archeological dig in my studio. All I had to do was decide how big I wanted the main image to be, cover it with versamark, iridescent ice embossing powder and hit it with the heat gun. The other thing I found during the dig was this very old Cuttlebug embossing folder. Then ..'POOF!'.. a card. Couldn't get any simpler than that. Golly I love it when a plan comes together!!
Something very old ~ file folders & embossing folder
Something new ~ Iridescent ice embossing pwd.

What a great card (and Michaels find)..it turned out lovely and you're right I never would have guessed at the ease of assembly. I like the idea of the sparkly ep over the main image...I'll have to remember that. You cracked me up with that archeological dig comment..I can so relate.

You're right...I would have never believed i took only 10 min to create this beauty! Think it must be a characteristic of a lot of us stampers that we have hoards and stashes of stuff, but to remember it or where we put it is the BIG question! : ) (I'm in that club) Love how you sparkled the main focal panel to make it look all the more special. You8 are a GREAT treasure finder.

Thanks for showing us what a little glitter will do.....need to remember that technique. 10 minutes......way to go. Thanks for sharing your day....which I found quite comical. You brightened up the challenge.
OMG! You're a genius. This card is great! I never seem to find neat stuff like this in my craft room when I go on an "archeological dig".....usually just a half eaten cookie or some wayward popcorn.
