This is my second attempt at parchment crafting. Since I don't have any Pergamano tools, I put my white Gelly Roll ball point pen to use and used it to emboss the Vellum. I should be able to do a better job when I get the proper stylus. I'm trying to figure out the best way to add color to Vellum. I experimented using mineral spirits to blend colored pencils but I wasn't happy with the results. I ended up just using Tombow markers on this one. I sewed the Vellum on by putting little crosses in the corner because, as we all know, the glue will show through.

Lovely, Beverly! And what a good idea while you're waiting for your stylist. There are glues now that can be used with vellum that won't show though (I'm told). However, I like stitching on a card, and your unique creativity makes this a beautiful card.

Talk about a genius! Very clever to sew the vellum on instead of gluing. You did an excellent job using the tools at hand. Sometimes I think running out and buying all paraphernalia is only a marketing ploy! Your creation is excellent. I love it.
