Here's my card for todays Ways to Use it challenge - we are to say whether we are a hare (fast) or a tortoise (slow) when we create a card.
I am usually a hare -since I work full time, I'm always cramming my creation time into the evenings around dinner and other things I need to do!
I usually have an idea about what I want to do for whatever I'm creating and when my idea translates well the card gets made quickly. But sometimes the idea in my head just doesn't work out - and then I am the tortoise!! trying one thing after another until something clicks!
One thing I do to help my speed - if I'm using a die on a card I often cut several so I have some extras if I want to use it on another card. I put them in a small clear envelope and store them with the die. I also check out several blog challenges, including SCS, to help with sketch designs and ways to use stamps that I have.
Today's card was made for a friend who wanted a First Easter card for a new granddaughter. I used the FUSION challenge sketch so it went together quickly - it took me about 15 minutes. My stamps are from Waltzingmouse and Papertrey Ink

This is perfect for a child.....soft colors, and it says Easter! Love how you could personalize it with the child's name. Nothing better than seeing your name in print. Super job. Thanks for sharing your tips, and playing along.

Really a sweet personalized Easter card for a child. The PTI DP turned out SO well with the egg die to create a striped egg. The lace and finely dotted DP add to the sweetness.

What a sweet first Easter card. I admire those people who can cut or punch extras - for me, I spend so long trying to find them that realistically, it's easier to start afresh each time.
