This is for this weeks challenge. Are you a tortoise or a hare. This card I was a hare. It took me 45 minutes, but I knew what kind of card I would be making, and my craft table had been cleaned off. The background paper was sponged with acrylic paint, which dries quickly. Embossed the white card front, and cut out the oval. Arranged the other dies, and added the bow. TFL

Beautiful. I am most always a tortoise, but knowing what you are going to do is a huge step. Love how you have the flowers over the center and a perfect silky bow to finish it off...TFS..:0)

Who would have thought one could sponge with paint! Linda, that's brilliant and what a beautiful backdrop it made behind the white die cuts. You always finish your card in such a classy way too. I'm a tortoise for sure.

GORGEOUS! The color of paint you used for sponging looks so pretty with the white, and the embossing folder is beautiful! The delicate die cuts are perfect, and I would love to be able to tie a bow that looks like yours!

So beautiful, Linda. I've been working on a school scrapbook all day for my preschools to auction off, so I'm tired and going to bed. Maybe I'll dream about what I can do for this fun challenge. I look forward to learning a lot from the added tips. Great idea for a challenge!

So clean and elegant, Linda. I love the look of the sponging on the background. More and more I am seeing in the gallery DIY backgrounds which are like papers I hoard - so I need to start using them up and then making my own . The embossing and scoring are so crisp and clean.

That sponged paint is beautiful. Love the color of it and how you have popped the white against it. Oh if I could only learn to have quicker cards like this one. Still trying to get a good stash built up so that I can some day craft this beautifully.

In your classic style of die cuts, embossing and scoring...with the added element of the sponged bg which is striking and adds color for contrast. A lovely card.
