This is my sample for the Gilded Relief tutorial - you can find all the instructions HERE!
This is my sample for an upcoming tutorial - I'll fill in more details when things go live!
My card is built on a watercolor paper base, and the frame and butterfly are die cuts from Impression Obsession. I used gesso to cover the base, but the gesso I have is extremely thick and either dried out a bit, or not actually gesso at all - I had to spread it with a putty knife, so this is a little more industrial looking than I intended! I added several layers of acrylic paints to the piece - I did that before the gesso-putty was dry and got some neat texture effects by laying a crackle stamp onto the wet paint - it lifted and revealed the white underneath, sort of of a fresco effect that I will have to try on purpose another time! The raised die cuts were rubbed with Old Gold Inka-Gold by Viva.
