Sabrina's challenge today....use a punch border an then pleat. This is a scrapbook page of my husband's grandparents. I want to frame it. After 5 hours it's done. Like many of you I scrapbooked before making cards. I now know why I make cards. Folded to make the frame, did some scoring, and did do the punch and pleat at the bottom. TFL

Gorgeous and wonderfully vintage. The scoring, the pleats and the lace perfectly complement the photo without overwhelming it. Love the soft blue print.

WOW! That layered framing is something else, Linda! Your corners are so perfectly mitered! They are flawless! This technique is new to me. If you designed this yourself, just WOW! What a fabulous way to preserve such a wonderful heirloom. At times, I really miss scrapbooking!

Linda, what a wonderful tribute! The layered paper framing is perfectly done, and the mat around the picture is beautiful with the pleated paper at the bottom. The love shows!

Beautiful mitering your corners Linda and your gathering/pleating is really pretty too! I scrapbook too! I'm going to a weekend crop this weekend!
I love this heritage page you've made and I hope you get it into a frame like you want!

The pleating is perfect for this wonderful piece. Your framing in paper is beautiful. Once you get the frame covering it all you wil have a treasure for years to come.
